Pediatric Supracondylar Humerus Fracture Type III

What happens when you jump like a frog from a computer chair to the carpet? You laugh and do it again, what happens the second time? You land wrong and break you upper arm so badly that it takes 2 nights in Children's Hospital, surgery, and 3 pins to put you back together. My 4yr old learned this just weeks before her birthday. Today she got her first real cast, after a week in a half cast. Her choice was colorful of course.

In 2 weeks she gets the pins removed and another cast. In 7wks she will be all done with casts and hospitals...

Nice blog, nice photos! Sorry about your daughter- ouch! : (

Did you realize that when you post your pictures, they get cut off on the blog on some computers? I have to click the pictures to see them not cut-off. Make sense? I'm not a computer person, but if you didn't know, I wanted to make sure you did.

Keep up the good work!

:) doing some google searches, your blog popped up. My 4 year old daughter jumped off our computer chair, broke her lower/distal humerus and has 3 pins! She picked a rainbow tiedye cast, I think that is so similar to your baby girl. :) Just funny how the stories are so similar! God Bless.
